The AP has confirmed that the Toronto Maple Leafs are once again the NHL's most valuable team leading the way over New York Rangers. This may come as no surprise to anyone with Leafs tickets as of late, as you have seen the incredible hometown support the Leafs get for each and every home game. The Maple Leafs are reportedly worth some $448 million.

The New York Rangers were second on Forbe's magazine's annual ranking. The Rangers are worth "just" $411 million. The AP reports that the Leafs grew in worth by 9 percent over their value last year.

The Montreal Canadiens are third on the list, with an estimated value of $334 million. After that the Detroit Red Wings are worth $303 million, while the Philadelphia Flyers are worth $275 million.
